"Glory"-The Movie

Released in 1989, and starring Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman, and Matthew Broderick, Glory tells the true story of Robert Gould Shaw who led the US Civil War's first all-black volunteer company, fighting prejudices of both his own Union army and the Confederates. In attendance will be Mel Reid, a member of the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry Re-enactment Unit and an extra in the movie Glory.
