This year, the Majestic Theater debuts its inaugural Membership program. As a Member, you are both part of our audience and a valued contributor to the Majestic Theater's programs that illuminate, educate and delight our community. The value of what the Majestic is contributing to the quality of life in Adams County is priceless.

However, the price for such high-quality performances cannot be fully covered by box office revenues. The Majestic earns about 60% of its annual $1.4 million operating expenses from ticket sales, rental fees, playbill advertising, and business sponsorships. Gettysburg College currently covers the theater's operating shortfall because it understands that start-up ventures often take years to establish a strong base of community support.

Since the Majestic Theater was always envisioned as a college-community partnership, it is now time to find a more equitable way to share the theater's annual operating shortgall. We can only continue to succed with the help of numberous friends and supporters. We hope taht you will take this opporunity to become involved by joining our "new" Membership Program. 100% of your tax deductible membership contribution will go to support the annual operatins of the Majestic Theater.

SeatsTheater Chairs 

Please be seated in elegant new chairs that bear the names of arts lovers and Majestic supporters. With your contribution, an engraved brass plaque will be affixed to your choice of theater or cinema chair for the life of that chair. You can personalize your plaque with your own name, in memory of a loved one, or as a unique tribute to a special friend or occasion.
