The Majestic Theater
The Majestic Theater opened in Gettysburg in 1925 as the largest vaudeville and silent movie theater in south-central Pennsylvania. The theater was designed by the prominent Philadelphia architect W.H. Lee, and built by Henry Scharf, manager of the historic Hotel Gettysburg. The $16 million restoration of the theater has meticulously re-created its original Colonial Revival features. More information.
The Majestic Cinemas
Continuing its 80-year downtown tradition of movies, the new Majestic Performing Arts Center features two new cinemas that for the first time will bring fine art films to Adams County. More information.

Majestic Theater and Altland House form delicious new partnership with Mamie's Café.
The 1950s-themed Mamie's Café at the Majestic Theater is changing its menu and hours of operation to complement a new partnership with Altland House Hospitality Group, of Abottstown.
Mamie's Cafe will no longer open for daily lunch and dinner service after August 29th. Mamie's will be available for private functions. Watch for special culinary events such as themed parties and cocktail events prior to live shows.

Patrons' Lounge
Located at the south end of the Balcony Level, the Patron's Lounge is handsomely appointed with pile carpeting, plush upholstered furniture, and decorative window treatments.
