Health & Safety Policies

Gettysburg College's Majestic Theater is pleased to welcome patrons back to the historic auditorium. The following policies and procedures will be in place for upcoming classic film showings:

MASKS:

Everyone who attends a film must wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth at all times while within the The LeVan Performing Arts Center. This includes all patrons and all employees.

Mask compliance is required at all times. Patrons who do not comply with the mask requirement will be asked to leave. Refunds will not be available.

SANITIZATION AND CLEANING:

All spaces will be thoroughly cleaned prior to and following each presentation. This includes spraying seats with disinfectant and wiping down all hard surfaces, doorknobs, and fixtures in all public areas.

Hand sanitizer stations will be available outside the Majestic Theater for patrons to use.

The Majestic's commercial HVAC systems provide fresh air into the building that is filtered.

ATTENDING A MOVIE:

Capacity is limited to 80 seats; tickets are general admission.

Advanced online purchase of tickets is strongly encouraged. The outside historic ticket booth will be open day of show starting two hours prior to showing.

Staff will ask patrons to hold tickets and display them to enter to avoid contact with patrons or tickets.

Two full rows will be closed between each open row. Patrons will be asked to sit in open rows and leave three empty seats between groups.

Seating will be available in the Orchestra and Balcony.

Patrons will be asked to make their way to their seats upon arrival and avoid gathering in the lobby.

Patrons are encouraged to remain in their seats for the duration of the presentation.

Patrons will exit the building through the front house left exit and orchestra rear doors as quickly as possible at the conclusion of the presentation.

RESTROOMS:

Restrooms will be open with physical distancing protocols in place.

Queue lines with physical distancing markings will be in place to direct patrons through the lobby and art gallery to the restrooms.

CONCESSIONS:

No concessions will be available. No outside food or drink permitted.

COAT CHECK:

Coat check will not be available.
