In this comedy, Antoinette, a schoolteacher, impulsively follows her married lover, Vladimir, on a surprise family hiking trek. Left to navigate the Cévennes mountains alone with a stubborn donkey named Patrick, she undergoes a journey of self-discovery, eventually letting go of her obsession to find unexpected independence.
