Amy Heller and Dennis Doros of Milestone Films lead a live online seminar about The Spanish Dancer (1923).
Pola Negri stars as the Romani dancer Maritana. Maritana and her love Don Cesar de Bazan become entangled with King Philip IV of Spain and his wife Queen Isabel when Don Cesar is arrested for defying the laws against dueling for a good cause. This restoration is accompanied by a new score by jazz vibraphonist and composer, Bill Ware.
