Will Call

Reserved tickets and packages will be available at Will Call beginning Monday, February 6 at 3:00 p.m. Items must be picked up in person at the Majestic Theater Box Office and will not be shipped to ticket holders.

The Box Office is located at 25 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA 17325. The Box Office is open 3:00-7:30 p.m., February 6-10. Lobby and Box Office open one hour prior to day’s first event on Saturday and Sunday.

We strongly recommend picking up your tickets before the festival begins.

Tickets required

Ticket reservations are required for all festival events. Many festival events are fully reserved. Contact the Box Office at (717) 337-8200 if you wish to make additional reservations. Your ticket must be present to enter an event.

Seating and Event Admission

All events are general seating. Festival Package holders enjoy early seating and may enter the auditorium prior to the general public. Festival Package holders MUST show their festival lanyard at the auditorium door in addition to their event ticket to enjoy this benefit.

Festival package holders MUST show their lanyard at the auditorium door to enter the three paid events included with their package – Friday evening’s event with Ken Burns and clip reel presentations on Saturday.

Seating start times

Main Hall events (Includes all Ken Burns presentations, Brooklyn Bridge, The Central Park Five, The War)

        Early Seating: 45 minutes prior to event start

        General public: 30 minutes prior to event start

Cinema One events (All breakout sessions, The Vietnam War, The Roosevelts, Country Music)

       Early Seating: 15 minutes prior to event start

       General public: 10 minutes prior to event start

Cinema Two events (The Civil War marathon)

        Early Seating: 15 minutes prior to event start

        General public: 10 minutes prior to event start

Weather Information

The Majestic Theater recognizes the festival is taking place in mid-February when Gettysburg and the surrounding area may experience winter weather conditions. The festival will take place as scheduled regardless of weather as long as Ken Burns is in Gettysburg.

No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather if the festival continues as scheduled.

During the final weeks preceding the festival, staff are actively monitoring forecasts for Feb. 10-12, and will communicate further information if necessary.

Parking Information

Free parking is available at Constitution Lot on the campus of Gettysburg College, located just 3 blocks west of the theater. Free round trip shuttle services will run from this parking lot at regular intervals during the Festival. The shuttle is wheelchair accessible.

Paid parking is available at the Racehorse Alley Municipal Parking Garage located directly behind the theater on Racehorse Alley. Limited street parking is available.

Regardless of which parking option you choose, please allow ample time to travel from your vehicle to the Majestic.

Other useful information:

Queues: Short wait times outdoors may be necessary prior to some festival events. Please be prepared to endure winter weather conditions while waiting outside the theater if necessary.

Coat check: Coat check will be available in the main lobby.

Concessions: Concessions will be available throughout the festival, and purchased items are allowed in the auditoriums.

Personal items: The Main Hall and Cinema One will be cleared and closed between events. Please take your personal items with you. The Majestic is not responsible for items left behind in auditoriums. Lost and found is located at the Box Office.

Masks: Masks are not required but are welcomed and encouraged at all Majestic Theater events.
