The written script is the structure upon which Ken Burns’ films are built. Dramatic narrative arcs are formed from historical facts that incorporate multiple characters’ points-of-view. What is the scriptwriting process? How do scripts turn into films? We will find out from Geoffrey C. Ward. The 7 time Emmy winner and writer of many of Ken’s most acclaimed films and companion books, will share insight from 40 years of writing with Ken.
