Dixon Brady (1948 - 2025) is an American visual artist who lived and worked most recently in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. His catalogue of work includes sculpture in wood and stone, a range of drawings in various media, and paintings which explore both formal and narrative ideas. Trained at Virginia Commonwealth University (BFA) and Indiana University (MFA), his career encompassed art direction, graphic design, and university teaching, along with his studio work. Over the trajectory of his career, Dixon was an Art Director, Staff Artist, and Senior Graphic Designer with several organizations, a founding member of the Indiana Chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), and was on the faculty at Ivy Tech State College, Anderson University, Brevard College, Haywood Community College, and Hood College.

This exhibition features work spanning 25 years and features a selection of Brady’s larger-scale paintings and a series of graphite drawings from his time living in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The exhibit is open daily beginning May 14, 2026 during Majestic Theater Box Office hours. Admission is free.
